Comprehensive Optometrist
Dr. Mailan Tran is a board-licensed optometrist at Atlantis Eyecare in Long Beach. Throughout her entire career, she has committed herself to providing the highest quality of optometric care. With her diverse training and experience, she is able to treat dry eye syndrome, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, macular degeneration and more. Further, her background includes ocular surgery, refractive surgery and cataract surgery.
Dr. Tran earned her bachelor’s of science degree in biology at UC, Irvine. She continued her medical training with a Doctorate of Optometry at the Illinois College of Optometry. During this time, she interned at many esteemed optometric establishments, including the Illinois Eye Institute, the Mount Ogden Eye Center and the Palo Alto VA Hospital. Upon completion of her training, she proudly joined the Atlantis Eyecare Group, where she commits herself daily to providing each patient with an excellent and effective experience.

Dr. Tran is the best. I have seen her a few times. Every time I go she is great & works hard & diligently to help me with my eye allergies. It did take a few visits to see what meds work best but she was truly able to help me. A lot of Dr.'s would not of been as helpful or willing to find me a cure.
